Creating a Brain-Healthy Workplace

In 2023, the Brain Center of Green Bay began expanding its educational and outreach programs across all generations. As a result, we saw a growing interest in employer groups to provide Lunch & Learns and In-service Presentations. All presentations are adapted to meet each agency's specific needs, giving flexibility for in-person, virtual, or hybrid options. We aim to improve our brains and understand how healthy lifestyle choices maximize our brain health and production in the workforce. Research shows that incorporating good brain health practices directly translates to better productivity and retention of employees, as well as mitigates many underlying issues, such as absenteeism, stress, and fatigue. Key presentation points include brain foods and nutrition, brain and body benefits of physical exercise, restorative sleep, appropriate stress management, avoidance of toxins, and cognitive stimulation.

“Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! For coming to our office and presenting. After you left, there were lots of positive comments and feedback from folks who attended. So much information. We will certainly keep you in mind in the upcoming months for other topics, as you mentioned: Nutrition and Sleep!” - BB, ISG

“Thank you very much for coming in! We really appreciate your time and insights. We had a lot of great feedback.” -EN, Schreiber Foods
