Brain Awareness Week 2024

The Brain Center of Green Bay hosted the second annual Brain Awareness Event, “Take Charge of Your Brain—It’s Kinda a Big Deal,” on March 13th. The yearly event aims to bring together community resources under one roof to promote brain health. It occurred during Brain Awareness Week, a global campaign to foster support for brain science and a better quality of life.

250 people of all ages attended this year’s event, and 25 community agencies took part by providing resource tables and information. Five live enrichment demonstrations highlighted brain-healthy cooking, care partnering, the power of music, meditation, and movement.

Thank you to our event sponsors, community partners, and volunteers for helping bring this year’s event to life! Also, thank you to the Botanical Gardens for graciously hosting the event and your incredible staff support.
