Board of Directors Application
The Brain Center Board of Directors serves as active advocates and ambassadors to help identify and secure the financial resources and partnerships necessary to advance the Center’s mission. The Board is also responsible for oversight regarding legal, ethical, and fiduciary considerations for the organization. Board members' terms are three years in length, with the opportunity to serve up to three terms (9 years). The Board of Directors meets every other month for a total of 6 meetings per year with an annual meeting in February.
Skills/Qualifications
A strong connection to the mission of the organization
Willingness to leverage connections and conduct outreach
Provide high-level oversight of organizational goals and performance
Strong participation in board meetings, committee work, special projects, and program/fund development events
Make a meaningful annual financial donation
